The End

This next week is the end of my stay here at Dixie State College. I'm going on a mission to Roseville California BABY!!!!! I'm so exited and can't wait. I plan on coming back to Dixie in two years, but this very well could be my last post for a while. Its been fun, see you in a while:)

Sterling Scholar

This week the regional Sterling Scholar was held at Dixie State College. To get prepared for it, I woke up at five thirty! just to put that in perspective, my earliest class is at ten, therefore I was up almost five hours earlier than I usually am!! I dont know about most people, but I value my sleep above most things in this world; not all, but most. Other than waking up early, it was a very eventfull day, and an extremely productive day:)

Sandy Red!

Last week was great!! As an ambassador here at Dixie State College, me and forty fellow ambassadors spent the weekend with about sixty high school and college students applying for the much coveted ambassador scholarship. We spent friday afternoon meeting and doing workshops with those students. Then we traveled to a cabin in pine valley and had a great time. we played games, ate food:) and my favorite part, socialized. We had a great time and I'm really exited to see how the new prospects turn out for next year. Judging by the competition all I can say is I'm really glad i didn't try out this year:) Good luck and I hope you ALL made it!

Spring Break

WOW!!! Spring break really gets a man out of his college groove. Spending a whole week in a tractor, driving in circles doesn't do much for my personal confidence. I guess that's why I'm going to college, so i don't have to spend the remainder of my life getting dizzy :) Other than the dizzy factor i had to much fun during the break! I DJ'd for my home high schools Jr. prom with one of my best friends: T-Laub. It was fun and i made a quick buck, or a quick couple hundred to be in fact:) All in all.....a good break I'd say!

A Mans Grilled-Cheese

During the Super Bowl me and Bryce were watching commercials when out of the dark blue sky we saw with our four little eyes the single greatest sandwich known to man: The mans grilled cheese sandwich from Carl's Jr. So....yesterday we went at about eleven at night and ordered the mans sandwich. OH MY GOODNESSSSSSS!!!!!!!! If you have never experienced heaven in your mouth you should totally try this sandwich!! Girls beware....this is a mans sandwich!

OH!!! AMANDA!!!

Today, Amanda Beth Hazzelnutt Jacobs, who works in the office with me and is a fellow ambassador, did the funniest thing i had seen all day. Of coarse, it was only ten in the morning but, she was sitting there trying to be funny (which if she reads this, she isnt haha :) when out of nowhere, she picks up her water bottle and little be-known to her the lid wasnt on it. It spilled all over her, the desk, and the keyboard. HAHAHA!!!! highlight of my day. Well......tied with when i locked her in the dungeon (Basment).

5 on 5

Me and a couple of friends are playing on a 5 on 5 intramural team at the school. We are doing really good, lost one and won one, but are hoping for the best right now. We play almost every day and are going nowhere but up. I'm so exited to see what the rest of the season brings for us. We play some really good teams and really need a strong fan base. Our team name is the Bullets, feel free to stop by and watch :)

School

This semester is going to be great!! I have already met like 43,000 friends. Classes are looking like they might be really exiting. I'm so exited for my Criminal Justice class. It sounds like its going to be tons of fun!!! All my classes are really looking up, they all seem way exiting. By the way...... 5 0n 5 B-ball!!!!!!! Represent!!

Christmas-Aunt Chris

Christmas is over!!! But, Aunt Chris is still here...... :) I'm so sad that Christmass break is soon to be over. While at the same time, i'm so exited for it to be over. I miss school, friends and that 'on my own feeling'. Anyway.... School is soon to start, i'm exited to be in my new classes, and to meet new friends.

All Done!!

Finally!! Finals week is over. It was one of the hardest most grueling things in the world... ;) but its finally over. I'm gonna miss tons of people that are leaving, and wish them the best of luck. But, I am really exited for the new semester, and cant wait to meet new people.

DONE!!!

I am officially done with CIS. Although i learned tons of great stuff in that class, I'm SO happy to be done with it all. It took lots of hard work and hours of my time; but I'm finished. Now i can laugh at all my roommates that have to take it next semester (just like they did to me this semester).

Tired or Tired of....

Every once in a while you get feeling that way. But that way can be two different ways... you can either feel the "sleepy" way, or you can feel the "tired of the same thing every day" way. Every once in a while i get feeling this way; and for all of you who also get feeling this way, two words....Mountain Dew!! Mountain Dew cures all your "tired" problems. If ever again you feel that way, just drink a mountain dew.

CIS...

CIS 1200 is the hardest class EVER!! I spend seriously a good quarter of my college life sitting in the computer lab doing CIS. Ya sure it could be worse, but only if it started raining in-doors. But even that might make things more interesting. :)I really wish CIS could be like all the other classes:easy,relaxing,INTERESTING. But all in all, its really not that bad. I've learned alot, and i know it will help me out in life....Eventually ;)

Flag Football

Yesterday was a sad day in CONVICTS flag football history. We as a team gave it our best shot, but just came up short. we're planning ahead for next weeks game, and are working out our strategy. All we can do is hope for the best.
